FAQs

What is the attire for the Wedding Day?

Cocktail black tie is the dress code for our wedding day, where we encourage gents to wear tuxedos or similar dark suits, and dresses or trouser suits for ladies – but no need for floor length gowns. Wear something that makes you feel fabulous.

Think smart casual & something you feel great in to drink cocktails and nibble on canapes whilst overlooking the city. No formal dress code.

Yes, Uber is available and very reliable in and around Porto.

We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing children to the wedding. Just bring your A-game for a night full of dancing by the Douro River.

Porto Airport, approximately 20-minute drive or taxi from the city.

We expect the weather to be in the mid 20 degrees Celsius. Of course, there’s no guarantee, so it could be much warmer, or even a chance of rain. Bring your sunnies and let’s hope for the best!

There is parking at our wedding day venue, but there is no parking available at our welcome event.

We are doing our best to ensure the events are the most fun for all of us that they can be. So, to maximise this we have reserved all rooms at Vinha Boutique Hotel, our wedding venue, for the 2 nights of our celebrations. We kindly ask you to consider booking one of these rooms at the discounted rate we have secured, by registering your interest in our “Accommodation” tab.

Registry

Your presence is present enough for us, and we’re so grateful that you’re making the trip to Porto to celebrate. No gifts please, but we will have QR codes on tables for those who would like to donate to two charities that are close to our hearts: Alzheimer’s Society and Lymphoma Action.

Concierge Support
