We’re so excited to celebrate with you, and thanks so much in advance for coming to join us. We’re hoping all of the info you need is on this website, but please drop one of us a note if you need anything else at all.

We have reserved all 38 rooms at our wedding venue, Vinha Boutique Hotel, for the evenings of 19th and 20th June. So in the interest of maximising the party, we are kindly asking you to consider booking one of these rooms, at the preferential rates that we have managed to secure. Please register your interest here for more information on these rooms. We will allocate on a first come first served basis, and will be able to host approximately half of our total wedding party.
The Rebello Hotel

For those not staying at Vinha Boutique Hotel, we suggest that you stay nearby to Taylors Port House, the venue of our welcome event. We recommend The Rebello Hotel, or as close as possible to Taylor’s Port House.
Please note, we will be organising transport between our two venues, on each of the event evenings. So staying on the South side of the river, in Vila Nova de Gaia is essential for easy logistics.

If you’re planning on making the most of your trip to Portugal (good idea), here is a little list of recommendations…
Porto
The most beautiful city. The home of Port wine and the mouth of the Douro River. Some suggestions on how to fill any spare time here you might have:
- For markets: Time Out Market & Mercado do Bolhão
- For upscale dining: Enoteca, Vinum, or Cafeína
- For the best sandwich: Casa Guedes
- For cocktails: Torto, Flôr Bar Porto, or Lapa Lapa
- For the Harry Potter lovers: visit Livraria Lello
Douro Valley
The incredible wine region, just a couple of hours from Porto. After the wedding celebrations, we will be heading to the Douro Valley for a few days of relaxing and drinking wine. We will be sharing details on where we are staying, and would love it if you would like to join us. More info to follow on this.
If you are looking to book sooner:
- Places to stay: Quinta da Pacheca, Six Senses Douro Valley, The Vintage House, Quinta São José do Barrilário or Quinta do Vallado
- Vineyards to visit: Quinta da Pacheca, Quinta do Vallado, and Quinta Nova
- Douro river cruise between Peso da Régua and Pinhão
- Ride the historic Linha do Douro train from Régua to Pinhão
- Eat lunch overlooking the vineyards at Seixo by Vasco Coelho Santos
- Visit the Museu do Douro in Peso da Regua
- Enjoy a spa with a view at the Six Senses or Vintage House hotels

Registry
Your presence is present enough for us, and we’re so grateful that you’re making the trip to Porto to celebrate. No gifts please, but we will have QR codes on tables for those who would like to donate to two charities that are close to our hearts: Alzheimer’s Society and Lymphoma Action.
