Neither of us were looking for anything that night, just two strangers out for a casual evening in Charleston. But a simple moment changed everything. He was deep in a conversation about Prague when she couldn’t help but chime in. A shared love of travel sparked the first connection, and suddenly, a chance encounter turned into something far more meaningful. 

He was an Army officer from Texas and only in town for a short while, deciding his next move after ten years of service. She was a South Carolina native, newly settled in Charleston and just beginning her professional journey. From that moment on, they never really left each other’s side.

Over the years, that little neighborhood bar became a favorite gathering place with our friends. Charleston became our home – the city where we met, fell in love, and built a life together that we truly cherish.

As we begin the next chapter, we knew we wanted to bring our closest friends and family to a place that reflects who we are. With our shared love of travel, culture, and color, Portugal felt like the perfect choice – full of beauty, fresh seafood, vibrant wine, and the kind of energy that makes a celebration unforgettable.
