Our story began in the spring of 2018 in Ottawa. What started as an easy, genuine friendship soon blossomed into something deeper, and by the fall, we knew our connection was something special. Over the years, our love has grown through adventure, laughter, and countless shared moments – exploring the world in places like Mexico, Costa Rica, New York, Italy, Cabo Verde, and Portugal.

Together, we’ve cheered each other on through university graduations, the start of new careers, and even new hobbies (like learning to play tennis, though the competition can get fierce!).

In March 2025, after returning from a beautiful trip to Cabo Verde, a place that quickly captured our hearts, Gonçalo proposed. Now, we’re overjoyed to begin this new chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by family and friends who have been part of our journey.
